Conference Highlights
This year's EXPO was our biggest event yet!
EXPO.08 was 5 days with over 50 sessions and solution based training classes — packed full of information about the latest EHS and Crisis Management technologies and best practices. Also on the agenda:
- Keynote Speaker: Simon Jacobson, Senior Analyst for AMR Research gave the keynote address, entitled "Laying the Foundations for Sustainability with Environmental Compliance" which provided perspectives on how organizations are meeting the challenges of globalization."
- Plenary and Applications Sessions: The latest market intelligence from industry experts focused on how newly released ESS software products are already delivering sustainability, global reporting, interoperability and more with integrated EHS and Crisis Management. Here are a few of the sessions from the EXPO:
- Live Full-Scale Emergency Exercise - The first Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standard (CFATS) exercise in Arizona happened at the City of Chandler's training site. Attendees witnessed the incident first hand and on monitors in the conference room as events were broadcast live to our EXPO session room.
- Professional Training Seminars and Hands-On Software Courses: Today's EHS and crisis managers must stay abreast of the latest industry information. At ESS, our training team has developed a focused curriculum that identifies the key regulatory compliance issues and best practices concepts that you need knowledge of for success. - Hands-On Workshop: Always one of the most popular aspects of our conference … attendees met informally, face-to-face with system experts to get help with unusual application challenges and/or technical questions.

- ESS Excellence Award Gala: An evening honoring organizations that are making the best use of ESS Products. This was a Business Casual Attire Gala not to miss.
